Mira is a strong advocate of personal social responsibility: giving back to those in need; making a difference in the community; supporting causes both in terms of time and money. She has served as Director on the boards of the Parkwood Hospital Foundation, St Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, and Wellspring London and Region. She has also championed fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity and most recently the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.

A portion of all fees supports the following organizations:

Brescia University, Canada’s only women’s university. Founded in 1919 by the Ursuline sisters, who were committed to social, justice, community service, and the development of women.

Heart-Links Peru, a grassroots organization founded in London, Ontario, funding projects in Northern Peru which focus on empowerment of women and youth.
